Strength and conditioning coaches induce steroid use in boxing

Freddie Roach is a well-known American trainer in boxing. He coaches the prominent boxer Manny Pacquiao. The trainer affirms that he knows the best method to eliminate the problem of steroid use in boxing. According to this coach, strength and conditioning coaches should be demonized for application of steroids and other related substances in this sport. He thinks that they educate boxers to administer performance-enhancing drugs. Thus, the trainer Freddie Roach notes that it is needed to get rid of each strength and conditioning coach. It will lead to eradication of steroid use from boxing.
What does Freddie Roach believe about essential changes that have occurred in physique and performance of Juan Manuel Marquez. In fact, there are different opinions about this person and dramatic changes in him. Many persons believe that he has used steroids which have caused these changes in him. When it comes to Freddie Roach, he supposes that Angel Guillermo Memo Heredia has provided anabolic steroids to Juan Manuel Marquez.
Memo Heredia is an admitted steroid dealer. He acknowledged that he had supplied many top athletes with anabolic steroids. Since he collaborated with feds and revealed names of several athletes that administered steroids, he was not charged with any crimes connected with distribution of steroids.
Thus, Freddie Roach states that strength and conditioning coaches like Memo Heredia should be pushed from boxing. It is the best way to eliminate administration of steroids and other related products from boxing.
It is interesting to notice that Manny Pacquiao, Freddie Roach’s client, also has a strength coach. Does it mean that this boxer administers steroids and/or other related drugs? The trainer Freddie Roach claims that the strength coach Alex Arizo doesn’t provide steroids to Manny Pacquiao.
Alex Arizo and Memo Heredia are friends. Thus, Alex Arizo tries to defend his friend, affirming that Freddie Roach’s accusations are false. In fact, the trainer Freddie Roach says that he doesn’t like to pronounce any accusations linked with usage of anabolic steroids and other related preparations. But he has to do it because this is the essence of boxing.
While Alex Arizo affirms that Memo Heredia doesn’t provide steroids to Marquez, Freddie Roach has own point of view. He continues to believe that Marquez is tainted. According to Freddie Roach, dramatic physical transformations of this athlete display that he administers steroids and/or other doping products.
