Role of Truth and Reconciliation Commission in eradication of doping

The USADA desires to define whether you have ever administered anabolic steroids, EPO, HGH and/or other banned preparations. This fact may surprise you but the anti-doping organization doesn’t plan yet to stop the investigation linked with Lance Armstrong’s doping case. So, the investigation has not been ended. The USADA desires to investigate every cyclist. Especially suspected steroid users will be investigated.
The USADA desires to use the best methods in order to catch those that have ever administered banned products. What is the best way to clean cycling of steroid use? The USADA tries to determine and utilize the best methods. This anti-doping organization is even ready to compare elimination of doping in cycling with that in South Africa.
The USADA affirms that those that apply anabolic steroids and other related preparations should be punished. Users of anabolic steroids and/or other performance-enhancing drugs are blamed as if they were criminals. They are often compared with those that commit violence and other serious crimes. Anabolic steroids are harshly blamed in the society. So, the USADA believes that if steroids and steroid users are demonized, it will be easier to elude doping.
In fact, the USADA asks the International Cycling Association to institute a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. The commission will investigate different cases connected with doping. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission will try to set why certain cyclists have administered steroids and/or other doping products but remained undetectable.
Moreover, the USADA promises that “amnesty” will be provided to those who admit to applying steroids and/or other prohibited drugs, ask for forgiveness, repent and tell everything linked with doping to the anti-doping agency, team doctors, teammates, friends, etc. If a former steroid user says only truth, he will get the full amnesty. Thus, the USADA hopes to clean cycling completely.
Travis Tygart, the CEO of the USADA, says that there are several cyclists related to Lance Armstrong that have remained undetectable. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission should identify them.
