Skip Bayless: Derek Jeter doesn’t play “clean”

Skip Bayless, a journalist of the channel ESPN2, accuses the baseball player Derek Jeter of steroid use. He has expressed his thoughts of criticism during the talk show “First take”.
In fact, Skip Bayless doesn’t have any evidence in order to suppose that Derek Jeter uses forbidden substances. Despites this fact, the statements of Skip Bayless have been spread. Before accusing Derek Jeter of doping, Skip Bayless began to criticize anti-doping system of the MLB. He claimed that the MLB’s tests for prohibited preparations are not advanced enough to catch those who use banned medicines.
Skip Bayless reminded Victor Conte’s point of view connected with testosterone:epitestosterone ratio test which is performed in the MLB. This method is not sophisticated enough to catch those who apply banned products. Instead of this method, it is necessary to use another. Carbon isotope ratio is more sophisticated.
Skip Bayless also confirmed that the MLB didn’t have any testing for HGH. The test for this preparation is performed in the MLB just once per year. But blood tests for this drug should be performed more times during year. Otherwise, players may administer this medicine and remain undetectable.
So, Skip Bayless thinks that Derek Jeter takes HGH and banned medicines. The ESPN2 journalist also noticed that if he were a baseball player, he would administer HGH.
Thus, Skip Bayless supposes that MLB players apply HGH and probably other banned medicines without being caught by the anti-doping system.
It is quite evident that the steroid era in baseball has not ended. Professional baseball players use various banned preparations and remain undetectable. But nobody can accuse an athlete of steroid use, basing just on improper drug testing. It is important to focus on facts, accusing an athlete of administration of prohibited preparations. Otherwise, any suspicion doesn’t have any value.
