Wrong conclusions of pathologist may influence on laws of the UK

The pathologist Georgina Howarth confirmed that the death of Mohammed Belkhair, a 19-year guy, had been caused by application of anabolic steroids. She explained that anabolic steroids had caused heart failure which had resulted in the death.
According to the doctor Howarth, if this young guy had not applied steroids, he would have been alive today. She said that intake of steroids was the only reason of the death. The pathologist added that the death of this boy was a lesson for every person to stay far from such products.
The sister of Mohammed Belkhair found him vomiting in his room on May, 2011. The boy admitted that he had used steroids. The death occurred at the same day. It was reported that steroids had been found in his system.
According to certain articles, DHEA and Tamoxifen were 2 steroids that were found in the system of the teenager. DHEA is sold overall in Britain and in the USA.
But in fact, the news is misleading. Tamoxifen doesn’t belong to anabolic steroids. This preparation has been initially elaborated in order to treat individuals who experience breast cancer. It has become popular among athletes and bodybuilders who utilize steroids due to its ability to prevent aromatization of other medications.
It seems to be curiously but nothing was mentioned about arrest of Mohammed Belkhair. This condition might contribute in his death. This teenager was arrested on the night before his death by police officials. 4 various anabolic steroids were found in the room of this person. But the names of the steroids were not mentioned.
Although the police encounter and arrest occurred several hours before the death of this boy, the pathologist Georgina Howarth didn’t investigate these factors. Furthermore, she didn’t provide any explanation about this condition. Police revealed nothing too.
Since it was noticed that Mohammed Belkhair had purchased steroids via internet, the news linked with risks of purchasing steroids online were spread in the country. Thus, it turned out to be convenient for changing the laws in order to make purchasing of steroids via internet illegal in Britain. The British government desires to make personal importation of steroids per mail and per internet illegal. It will be in near future. Although it is said that these amendments will be enacted before the 2012 Olympics, they are not still enacted.
