American youth and steroids

American youth idolize their sports stars. They have already numerous such idols from the days of the baseball players Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson till the stars of today: the football player Peyton Manning and the baseball player Derek Jeter. Fans observe and repeat their every move.
Isn’t it dangerous to idolize sports stars of nowadays? It can be risky. Today sports heroes get millions of dollars due to usage of steroids. Although the NFL and the MLB fight against intake of forbidden medicines, the war seems to lack success. Usage of steroids like cancer destroys sports. Although American youth are educated about serious negative symptoms of these medicines, the results are not satisfactory.
It is said that youth are suppressed to use steroids. They try to meet the required criteria of college admission; they adore current professional sportspersons. The all these aspects induce administrating steroids.
Of course, all parents desire their children to succeed. If children go info sports, their parents desire them to compete successfully and to continue to play professionally. Children understand that it is not easy to do it. Which are the consequences? The pressure impacts greatly on American youth. Over 10 % of teenagers feel that they have to cheat in order to be successful. College admission levels have dropped because of budget cuts. The Recovery Place proclaims that it can lead to the situation, when high school students will look for alternative ways to be able to stand out among crowds. Doping can seem for teenagers to be the best alternative way.
American youth know that numerous professional athletes have succeeded differently. Some of them did it due to their talents and hard trainings; others administrated steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. If American youth follow those who dope, which will be the results?
Prolonged steroid use can cause addiction to these medications. Furthermore, users of steroids can experience such adverse consequences, as liver disorders, cancer, hypertension, icterus, kidney disorders and bad cholesterol. These adverse consequences are considered to be serious; they can be life-threatening.
Of course, parents don’t want to see their children with health problems. They want their children to reach goals due to devotion to sports and intensive workouts. But it is difficult to do it because many others cheat, applying steroids. Now it is time to do everything to push out steroids. These medicines shouldn’t disturb to reach our goals.

Baseball hopes that the steroid era is over

There is a topic that promotes hot discussions. Especially baseball fans are excited, if they hear about steroids and their influence on this sport. Thus, in case you desire to cause heated debates, you just have to mention that some baseball stars win due to administration of steroids.
Different people have various points of view, when it comes to the topic about steroids. Sometimes it is difficult to understand why some individuals that play baseball take steroids. Do they play baseball only for money? Are they so blinded by money and praise that they do everything for these perspectives? Of course, the most respected baseball players are those who don’t apply steroids and win because of natural talents. Those are worth of respect, honor and awards who are not lured to administrate forbidden medications for achievement of their goals.
It is believed that steroid users must not be elected for the Hall of Fame. It represents trying to escape from shame connected with the steroid era. You can observe efforts to leave all unpleasant effects in past and to move further. But do these efforts to demonize steroid users mean that the steroid era is over? Actually, a wrong perception is created here. The steroid era is not over. Those that suppose that blaming steroid users mean that baseball is drug-free are mistaken.
Everyone knows that many baseball players have used anabolic steroids and other related products. Moreover, nobody doubts that today there are such players of baseball that continue to use forbidden preparations. Numerous people discuss whether a player with average skills may become great due to usage of banned medicines. Certain people claim that without appropriate talents steroids do not profit. Talents should present. Others don’t agree with this affirmation. They confirm that steroids have ability to enhance performance whatever talent an athlete has.
But the problem is that we condemn players that dope alone. But not only players must be condemned for the steroid era. Everybody knows what happens actually during the steroid era.
It is unlikely that the steroid era is over. Baseball hasn’t yet past the dark clouds. Administration of steroids is still deeply in the heart of baseball. Decisive efforts must present to be sure that doping doesn’t destroy baseball anymore.

Why is steroid use so widely spread in the Dominican Republic?

The Major League Baseball put efforts to stop using steroids. It desires to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be capable to achieve the big show. A location where the efforts of the MLB are used and clearly observed is the Dominican Republic.
Those that live in the Dominican Republic desire to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. So, the whole family changes the location where the family lives. Unfortunately, numerous individuals are lured to administrate steroids and other related medicines to achieve their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country where a lot of people administrate steroids and other drugs which enhance performance. That’s why an athlete from this location is asked whether he has applied steroids or other related medicines. Of course, this individual confirms that he has never doped because tests are performed and everybody is afraid to be caught using any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests sportspersons from the Dominican Republic. Thus, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur sportspersons from this location tested positive. The MLB plans to tests Dominicans and to punish those who dope.
It is reported that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is significantly higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB puts significant efforts to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are educated about dangers for their health linked with steroids. They are taught about negative effects that can be caused by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a great problem in this situation. The average salary is approximately 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To obtain a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a true achievement for any Dominican. That’s why sportspersons from the Dominican Republic are especially inclined to dope for such perspectives. They desire to obtain a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They want to get it for well-being of their families and for improvement of their lives in future. Obtaining a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal life, from travelling by bus to driving own car.
In fact, steroid use is not a problem only in the Dominican Republic. It is a problem which destroys the whole world. No one sportsperson can be sure whether he competes against an individual who has natural skills and talents or against an individual that administrates steroids and other related medications. That’s why it is necessary to nip intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth must be educated about dangers linked with doping not just in the Dominican Republic or only in the U. S. but around the world.

Baseball will be free of drugs

The Major League Baseball experienced several problematic periods of time. It endured 2 situations that are claimed to be 2 world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Nowadays the MLB suffers from steroid era. It is widely believed that it will have capability to endure this period too. There was a case that had a significant impact on baseball as well. It was the case connected with Barry Bonds.
Of course, Barry Bonds was not the only player of the MLB who applied performance-enhancing drugs. Furthermore, he is not the last of them. Many baseball players have applied banned products to enhance performance. Many players of baseball have received praise and millions of dollars due to administration of banned medicines.
The sums of money that can be obtained justify the dangers linked with administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players who take prohibited preparations do not care so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about getting money. Such people are responsible for the influence which is spread upon fans that try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot debates about baseball and the steroid era.
Nobody doubts that any baseball player who takes steroids destroys his honor. It is made only for money. Such person trades own honor only for getting money.
Nevertheless, it is believed that future of baseball is light. A lot of baseball players have talents and proper skills; they train hardly and devote themselves completely to this sport. They are honest individuals. They keep their reputation. Such persons love baseball truthfully. They don’t care just about money. Such baseball players are motivated by real love to baseball.
Generally, the MLB prohibits steroids. But unfortunately, there are individuals in every sport that take unfair advantage due to administration of steroids.
Our hope is bright: we think that the day comes, when we’ll see sportspeople that compete not because of administration of steroids and other related preparations but due to natural talents, skills and intensive trainings.

Steroid use in sports

The topic connected with steroids appears everywhere. It is widely discussed by many individuals. Everyday numerous articles mention about these preparations. You read news that report about people that administrate steroids. You come across cases connected with those who are caught selling steroids and sentenced to probation or jail. Although steroids are recommended for numerous people to cure them from some diseases, usage of these medications for enhancement of performance is more widely spread. It seems that it destroy the whole world.
Many persons are controlled by money. If they may get money due to distribution or administration of anabolic steroids, they do it. They are not stopped by the steroid laws. They take and sell these preparations, in spite of the fact that they are claimed to be illegal in several countries. Many individuals break steroid laws because they can obtain money, distributing and/or using steroids.
It is undoubtedly that you have read numerous articles about wrestlers that have administrated forbidden medicines for many years. Some of consumers died because of sudden attacks, being young. But nobody wants to acknowledge that fatal cases happen because steroids. Many people deny links between life-threatening medical conditions and steroid use.
The Major League Baseball wants to escape from steroid era. We hope that the time comes, when baseball will be played without doping and winners will be decided due to natural talent and skills of players but not due to performance-enhancing drugs.
It is not possible to be convinced that you comprehend how wide spread intake of banned medicines is in professional and non-professional sports. Administration of steroids by competitive sportspeople is cheating. If sportspeople take products that enhance performance, they lie. They take unfair advantage during competitions.
Any user of steroids who goes info sports should determine whether he/she has talent to be involved in sports. If he/she can’t compete, he/she must have another job. Each person must do the job he/she really is able to do. So, if you are not able to play football, you should do another job.
There is a hope that administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs will be pushed out of sports. It may be that this time will be soon in the future. Who knows?

Who is sentenced to imprisonment for violation of steroid laws?

The laws that ban administration of anabolic steroids have appeared because of certain conditions. They turned out to be responses to widespread usage of steroids in competitive sports. Anti-Doping Agencies believed that prohibition of steroids would keep professional sportspeople far from usage of illegal medicines. But criminalization of steroids influenced on administration of steroids by competitive sportspeople insignificantly.
The steroid laws usually do not prosecute sportspeople that administrate illegal medications. On the contrary, non-competitive sportspersons and recreational bodybuilders are usually targets of the steroid laws. They suffer due to results of breaking these laws.
This is not only one’s point of view. This is reality. Let realize: who is sentenced to jail because of selling steroids? For example, Ashley Dewayne Rivers of Alabama received 5-month imprisonment because he had sold about $2000 worth of steroids to a physician. Actually, this person was not the target of a steroid investigation. He only turned out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The estranged wife of this doctor said to federal investigators that her husband was implicated in operations of black steroid market. So, the statement of this lady caused the situation, when the physician was investigated.
Actually, Ashley Rivers was a distributor of steroids for short period of time. He sold these medicines to his friends. James Robinson, the defense attorney for Ashley Rivers, said that his client had recognized his guilty totally and taken the total responsibility for his illegal actions. The attorney noted that Rivers was a moral individual. However he violated the steroid laws, he realized the dangers and acknowledged his guilty.
James Robinson asked the judge to sentence Rivers Ashley only to probation. Ashley Rivers cared about his physically impaired wife, 2 children that were adopted by him and 3 children of his disabled brother. Moreover, this person sacrificed about 40, 000 dollars for individuals that lost their homes because of tornadoes. It would be better, if this man were sentenced to probation. He would continue his work for his family and other individuals.
But Christopher Brinson, the Assistant U. S. Attorney, rejected the request of James Robinson. He claimed that this man committed a serious crime and he should serve time in jail. Although the judge was inclined to agree with the request of the defense attorney at the beginning, finally he decided to agree with the Assistant U.S. Attorney and sentenced Rivers to 5 months in jail.
You may observe that steroid laws don’t influence on professional athletes.

Jose Canseco desires to come back to the MLB

Jose Canseco is a former player of the Major League Baseball. He was banned for usage of steroids. This former baseball player wrote a book “Juiced” in which he noticed that many players of the MLB administrated steroids.
Now Jose Canseco has been invited to play for the Tigres de Quintana Roo of Cancun. Jose Canseco has talked about his dreams to play in the MLB again. He has written on Twitter that Cancun is his following step towards the MLB.
This person has not played professional baseball since 2001 after he had played for the Chicago White Sox. This player was probably blackballed by baseball because of his comments linked with steroids and described in the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big”. He has called himself the “godfather” of steroids in baseball and took credit for introducing these products in baseball. This person openly admitted in his book that he had used anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The author of the book mentioned also names of other baseball players who took steroids. Such persons, as Mark McGwire, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriguez, and Jason Giambi were named by Jose Canseco.
In spite of the fact that anabolic steroids may be purchased without any prescription at Mexican pharmacies, they are prohibited in MLB.
According to some reports, Jose Canseco will be tested for forbidden medications by the Quintana Roo Tigers.
Jose Canseco confirms that he has stopped using steroids several years ago. According to some sources, since stopping administrating steroids it had been indicated testosterone replacement therapy for him to treat several problems connected with reduced level of testosterone.
Jose Canseco noted that he had suffered from certain adverse reactions due to intake of steroids. Thus, his doctor had to recommend him a testosterone gel to relieve from low libido and depression.
While he tried to restore his natural testosterone production, he got certain troubles with laws. He was detained for about 9 hours by the San Diego Immigration and Customs Enforcement after he had been caught possessing HCG at the international border. His house was raided by law enforcement officials but no any steroids were discovered.
Although Jose Canseco will never escape from his steroid past, he put efforts to continue playing professional baseball.

Not each fighter with low testosterone level can obtain a TUE

Some mixed martial artists have publicly acknowledged that they take anabolic steroids as a part of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) that has been recommended by physicians. Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC), states that this aspect has created a perception among many people that steroid exemptions are given to permit MMA fighters to use the steroid testosterone.
During an interview with Ben Fowlkes of MMA Fighting Kizer noted that several people believed that any fighter could obtain exemptions for intake of testosterone. He noted that he couldn’t say it about other states but he mentioned about the situation in Nevada. According to the executive director of the NSAC, it is 50/50 whether a request for steroid exemption will be approved.
TRT is a treatment which is required for adult men with hypogonadism (low levels of testosterone). If sportspeople correspond to the medical criteria, they can be allowed to administrate steroids.
The NSAC has strict requirements for those who want to obtain a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for administration of steroids. A fighter must have the document which manifests that blood levels of testosterone are low. But if a sportsperson has low level of testosterone, it is not sufficient to get a TUE. Treating doctors should identify reasons and medical conditions. The details linked with testosterone replacement therapy must be described by physicians too. Each detail should display that certain athlete should take testosterone for clinical needs and administration of steroids will not give unfair advantage to the fighter.
Some top athletes of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have applied steroids for TRT. Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt, Dennis Hallman and Dan Henderson are included in the group of stars that take steroids for clinical needs.
The executive director of the NSAC claims that prohibition of steroids makes MMA safer. He notes that if a fighter takes steroids, he/she takes unfair advantage as if it is used knuckles that are hidden inside gloves. Thus, this is not just lying. This factor is related to risks for life. If you say to a fighter that you can put knuckles in the gloves so, as no one will know it, this person will say you not to bother him. But it is strangely that such fighter takes steroids.
Undoubtedly, intake of steroids has possible dangers to increase the harm that may occur in MMA.

A father served 6 years in prison for injecting his 13-year old son with steroids

James Gahan injected his son Corey who is 13 years old with anabolic steroids. He wanted him to become an Olympic athlete.
This boy became an inline skating champion at the national level. This boy won the 2004 Inline Speed Skating Nationals. He also won the 2nd place at the 2005 National Indoor Speed Skating Championship.
James Gahan pleaded guilty in possessing and injecting steroids to his little son. This person cooperated with a trainer from Florida in order to provide Corey with following drugs: testosterone, Deca Durabolin, HGH and HCG. He was arrested in May, 2004. As a result of his illegal actions, he received 6-year imprisonment.
Since he had already completed his time in a jail, he was released. James Gahan began to claim that his attitude to steroids and other prohibited drugs had been changed completely. This person talked to high school athletes about dangers linked with doping. It was a part of his community service to which he had been sentenced by the court.
This person said nothing about influence of steroids on the life and health of his 13-year old son. James Gahan mentioned just about own experiences with these preparations. This person added that if one desired to see adverse consequences of anabolic steroids, he might display them because he used these drugs. James Gahan mentioned that he used 45 pills per day and his insides had eroded.
Actually, James didn’t explain what he meant, confirming that his insides had eroded because of steroids. He didn’t say anything about his disease which required 45 tablets per one day!
James Gahan said about Corey that he had known everything they had done. But he noticed that since he was the father, he took the whole responsibility upon himself. But James Gahan concluded that it would be better for Corey to admit that he had cheated.
But Corey doesn’t desire to communicate with his father who has supplied him with steroids. Earlier he has reported that his father has never been sorry for injecting him with steroids; he has been sorry because he has been caught doing it.

Colin Daynes has been banned for 2 years

A Greco-Roman wrestler, Colin Daynes, hoped to represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympics. Unfortunately, his dreams will not be real. Administration of prohibited preparations became a reason for it. This wrestler was caught taking steroids, diuretics and a selective estrogen receptor modulator.
Earlier Colin Daynes won the 74 kg division at the Canadian Wrestling Qualification Trials.
The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports reported that Colin Daynes had tested positive for such prohibited products, as boldenone, drostanolone, furosemide and tamoxifen. Boldenone and drostanolone are anabolic steroids which are better known under their trade names: Equipose and Masteron. When it comes to Tamoxifen, it is known as Nolvadex. This preparation is usually used in combinations with several others to minimize water retention. Furosemide or Lasix belongs to the class of diuretics. Wrestlers take this preparation as well as other diuretics to lose body weight to correspond to requirements of certain weight categories.
Colin Daynes acknowledged that he had used anabolic steroids and other banned medicines intentionally. This wrestler noted that he had used these products to receive recovery from a partially-torn bicep and an elbow injury. But this wrestler added that he hadn’t known that these medications were prohibited by the WADA. This wrestler blamed his prescriber for this aspect. He said that he had consulted a naturopathic doctor that advised him using these preparations. The wrestler noticed that if he had known that the medicines were banned, he would not have competed.
Colin Daynes represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. After he won the national trials in 2008 he desired to compete at the Beijing Olympics. But he didn’t take part in this Olympics because he couldn’t qualify at the international level. Recently this wrestler won the Canadian Wrestling Qualifying Trials in December, 2011, and was scheduled to secure his allowance for the 2012 London Olympics through the competition at the Pan American Wrestling Championship.
But due to usage of forbidden drugs this wrestler has been sentenced to 2-year ban. It means that this wrestler is not permitted to compete till December 2012, when his athletic career ends too.
Colin Daynes confirmed that he had represented the native country proudly. He concluded that people might judge him, if they were able to do it after the successful career of 25 years and everything he had done.

Some persons claim that the case related to Lance Armstrong has been closed due to corruption

The case against Lance Armstrong related to doping is proclaimed to be closed. He remains to be considered a champion that won at the Tour de France 7 times.
It is known that federal prosecutors put efforts to define whether Lance Armstrong and his teammates have taken part in a doping program. The duration of the investigation has been about 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has administrated banned medicines. The charges against Lance Armstrong threatened not only to his athletic career but also to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that Lance Armstrong used steroids were in vain.
This cyclist said that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office made a decision to close the investigation. He noted that it was a right decision. Armstrong mentioned that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
The attorney Andre Birotte announced during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation related to the case of Lance Armstrong. This person didn’t mention about any reason of this decision. But he indicated that come previous similar investigations were also closed.
For example, the investigation linked with Barry Bonds was claimed to be unsuccessful. Prosecutors couldn’t prove that this sportsperson had lied about intake of steroids. As for the case linked with Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge announced about previous mistrial.
Investigators suspected that a doping program was organized by Armstrong’s team. They desired to define whether it was so as they thought. Authorities investigated whether Armstrong encouraged or induced doping.
In fact, prosecutors put efforts to determine whether Lance Armstrong and his team violated federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Armstrong was not forced to testify before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were accused in lying under oath.
Frank, a former teammate of Lance Armstrong, and her wife Betsy Andreu charged Armstrong with administration of controlled substance. They claimed that they were shocked by the decision to close the investigation. They concluded that such situations happened due to power of money.

Exaggerated affirmations about side effects of steroids are quoted by media more often by 500 times than scientific statements

Norm Fost, the professor of Wisconsin’s University, destroys certain common misconceptions linked with anabolic steroids. Although some experts notice about dangerous and even life-threatening undesirable results of anabolic steroids, the physician Fost denies these affirmations, confirming that they lack any scientific basis.
But affirmations of this specialist are not so often quoted by media as statements about severe adverse consequences of steroids. Thus, the message of Norm Fost that steroids are not so dangerous, as it is believed, is noted once for every 500-time affirmation that steroids represent a real evil.
Furthermore, editors usually create a wrong perception among readers, writing the quotes of this physician wrongly. For example, a headline of a radio talk sounds following: “UW-Madison doctor: steroids aren’t harmful at all”. The headline is not correct. It is misleading. Norm Fost has never clamed that steroids were not harmful at all. It is evident that these medicines can cause various adverse results. Norm doesn’t deny risks of appearing side symptoms. Actually, this specialist says some other things. This doctor notices that potential risks of steroids are essentially exaggerated. Norm Fost denies the statement that steroids lead to the rare form of brain cancer. According to some sources, this led to the death of Lyle Alzado, a player of the NFL. Dr. Fost confirms that there is no any connection between the death of this player and steroids.
Alzado demonized his prolonged steroid abuse for the primary brain lymphoma which finally led to his death. Assertion of this person was the only evidence which indicated about the connection between his usage of steroids and the brain cancer.
But a question appears here. Why did Lyle Alzado make public his steroid use, blaming anabolic steroids for his condition? Couldn’t you find this fact strange?
Actually, it was said that AIDS had affected his immune system and induced destroying his body by the primary brain lymphoma.
A pathologist said that Lyle Alzado had had T-cell lymphoma that was connected with AIDS. According to Dr. Thomas DeLoughery, Alzado was afraid that the public would know that he died from AIDS because of the cancer.
Pathologists at OHSU reported that Lyle Alzado had had B-cell lymphoma which was not linked with HIV or AIDS.
The physician DeLoughery explained the case. He said that T-cells of this person were inflamed but the malignant cells were B-cells.
While experts disputed about AIDS and the type of cancer which Alzado had, no one of them claimed about links between his brain lymphoma and intake of steroids.

Anna Watson refused to take steroids because of her moral principles

The University of Georgia cheerleader Anna Watson noted that she was pressured to administrate steroids to obtain a fitness modeling contract. Her modeling agent recommended her to administrate Anavar to obtain needed 50 pounds of muscles. Anna Watson was tempted but finally she rejected this recommendation. This lady confirmed that her body was “a temple” and she would not affect it.
This person confirmed that she had been tempted by administration of steroids numerous times. The agent put efforts to present steroids as something good.
It was said that she would get a $75,000 per year fitness modeling contract, if she apply steroids and gain 50 pounds of muscles. This lady said that she told Elite Model Management representatives in Paris. Elite is one of the most prestigious modeling networks. Such well-known models, as Adriana Lima, Cindy Crawfors and Gisele Bundchen belong to Elite.
But Anna Watson preferred to be a cheerleader at the University to being implicated in the glamorous world. Furthermore, she refused to take steroids because this aspect was not in harmony with her religious principles. this person confirmed that she didn’t serve a modeling agent but the Lord. She added that she had been created as a nice creation. Anna Watson made a conclusion that she would not break her moral and religious principles only to take photos. Anna Watson made a decision not to affect her health.
Several questions appear, reading these affirmations. Somebody could ask whether Elite Model Management looks for models who have the same appearance like competitive female bodybuilders. Or may be Anna Watson just desire to draw public’s attention by taking advantage of bad attitude to steroids?
It is evident that if Anna Watson acquires 50 pounds of muscles, she will be permitted to compete on national bodybuilding stage. But what is for contract of 75, 000 dollars per year? Sportspersons know that such sums of money are not got easily even in sports. But can such large sum of money be got from modeling agency? It is controversial.
Female bodybuilders compete greatly to get prize money. Females with muscular bodies are more likely to get money from “schmoes” (men that have sexual fetish for muscular women) than from the most prestigious modeling agencies.

King Mo Lawal used a supplement that contained steroid ingredients

King Mo Lawal acknowledged that he had administrated a dietary supplement which was tainted. As it turned out to be, that supplement contained 2 ingredients which were synthetic steroids. According to this person and his manager, administration of this product led to positive for Masteron.
Lawal noted during an interview for MMA Hour that he had purchased “S-Mass Lean Gainer” in a Max Muscle store in April, 2010. This product was manufactured by Steel Body Production.
But this is not the situation, when steroid ingredients are not disclosed. Synonyms of forbidden products are written on the label of this product. In fact, these steroids were the subjects of certain debates between anti-doping organizations and federal regulators since 2005. They are following: 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol and 4-Chloro-17a-Methyl-a-andro4-ene3, 17b-diol. These preparations are better known under the names: Superdrol and Promagnon.
As for Superdrol, it goes by methyldrostanolone, methasteron and 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol. Thus, methylated version of Masteron was defined in the urine sample of King Mo Lawal by a proper lab of the anti-doping agency.
The pharmaceutical company Anabolic Resources was the first which produced Superdrol as a dietary supplement. It was more than 5 years ago. This company was accused in elaborating of a new unapproved medication. Later Anabolic Resources pleaded guilty and acknowledged that they had marketed a synthetic steroid as a dietary supplement. As a result, this company had to pay a fine of 500, 000 dollars.
As for Promagnon, it also initially appeared as a dietary supplement in 2005 by Peak Performance’ Labs. The government didn’t take any action against the company for manufacturing and selling this steroid. But this pharmaceutical company made a decision to discontinue producing this product in 2006.
Although legal status of these two steroids is controversial, many companies have produced and distributed them as dietary supplements during about 6 years. Undoubtedly, those that are involved in this industry know about the status of these products but they continue to offer them for sales.
The manager for Lawal notes that the full responsibilities should be taken by the companies which market synthetic steroids as dietary supplements. He adds that such companies misguide people intentionally.

Ryan Braun claims that he has great respect to baseball

However Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a ban for administration of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This player didn’t acknowledge to administration of forbidden medicines. This baseball player claimed that he had turned to be a victim of a false positive. This person fights against the results that have been announced.
However it has been recently discussed whether users of steroids are allowed to be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they do not forfeit their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted consumers of steroids keep their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell proclaimed that Ryan Braun would be allowed to keep the MVP awards. Earlier other users of steroids were allowed also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these athletes admitted that they had administrated steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Braun had elevated level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has manifested about exogenous type of testosterone. Actually, this test can’t indicate actual quantity of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was applied by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was used carbon isotope ratio testing which indicated about existence of exogenous testosterone.
Numerous sportswriters supposed that Ryan Braun should have forfeited his MVP awards because of the positives for steroids. But this player made another decision. Ryan Braun decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false charges with usage of steroids. He said that characters of individuals are revealed in such situations of adversary. This American baseball player claimed that he had a great respect to baseball. This player concluded that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with respect and appreciation towards baseball.
It was said that Ryan Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball who didn’t feel needs to administrate steroids to be capable to play. When this player found out about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was too surprised. He said that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to admit to administration of forbidden products.
Ryan Braun decided to fight against the results of his tests, confirming that unusual circumstances surrounded this case. He announced that he would prove his innocence and false positives.

Alexandre Dougnier didn’t suppose that he would be tested for controlled substances

Administration of anabolic steroids and other medications that increase performance is widespread among amateur as well as professional sportspeople. It isn’t surprisingly, if athletes test positive for controlled medications. But there are several unusual cases, when a person tests positive for numerous prohibited drugs. Here is an example.
Alexandre Dougnier, a teenage amateur French cyclist tested positive for more than 10 banned medications, including over 5 steroid metabolites. It was at a race in France in May, 2011. This person has been sentenced to 3-year ban from competitions.
It was defined that this young cyclist had administrated such steroids, as Anavar, Dianabol and Winstrol. Other steroid metabolites which were found in his urine sample were following; 3-Hydroxystanozolol, 16b-Hydroxystanozolol, 4b-Hydroxystanozolol, Oxandrolone, epi-Oxandrolone, 6b-Hydroxymethandienone and 17-epi-Methandienone.
This young cyclist was a member of the Parisian Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt. Some individuals note that this cyclist might have been a follower of the club’s doper Jacques Anquetil. This person has been considered to be a famous individual of cycling’s history. He was a member of the club de Boulogne-Billancourt in 1950s and 1960s. He was the first cyclist that had won the Tour de France 5 times. He had got also 2 Olympic medals.
Jacques Anquetil administrated steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. Furthermore, this cyclist defended doping during a TV debate with the French sports minister. He said that it was impossible to endure cold, heat waves and rain in mountains during cycling without doping. He claimed that only a fool person would endure these conditions connected with the extreme sport of cycling without performance-enhancing drugs. This famous cyclist noted that drug testing might deprive personal liberty. Jacques Anquetil concluded that everybody doped.
It is necessary to know steroids were not so widespread among cyclists in 1950s and 1960s. Intake of more dangerous amphetamines was more widespread during those years. As for usage of anabolic steroids, it has become more enhanced during past 2 decades.
Let see which affirmations have been said about steroids, when other cyclists have been caught taking them. When the cyclist Floyd Landis was caught applying testosterone, it was claimed by his legal team that neither anabolic steroids, nor other performance-enhancing drugs were capable to enhance performance in cyclists. As for the distributor of steroids Joseph Papp, he didn’t agree with this affirmation. He noticed that usage of steroids was widespread in elite cycling. According to his words, a person can use testosterone gels in a clever way without being detected by anti-doping programs: users of transdermal testosterone must take in consideration time of detection.
Alexandre Dougnier wasn’t cautious and didn’t attempt to avoid detection. He probably didn’t suggest that cyclists would be tested for banned preparations at the race in Aubervilliers.

King Mo Lawal has to serve a ban

Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t like each other. They didn’t display their negative attitude to each other for some years. During an interview Lawal said about their relationships, mentioning that he doesn’t like Rampage Jackson who also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it is not surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson expressed his thoughts about the fact linked with Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson noticed that it was quite evident that Lawal had administrated steroids. He pointed out that King Mo was not a true fighter. He applied steroids to be capable to compete.
Rampage Jackson claimed that there were fighters that were permitted to take steroids. He referred to those who had to administrate steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This fighter noted that it was an essential difference between goals. Fighters and other athletes are permitted to use steroids for TRT and not for increase of performance, according to this fighter.
This mixed martial artist confirms that there are athletes who experience certain health problems. They talk to their health care providers who prescribe steroids. They use these products in order to be relieved from health problems and to stay competitive. But he adds that there are fighters who take steroids in order to enhance their performance. It is very sadly, according to this mixed martial artist.
Nevertheless, intake of steroids for hormone replacement therapy by sportspersons is a quite controversial issue.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson acknowledged that they had used steroids because of hypogonadism.
Thus, Rampage Jackson is a fighter who confirmed about permission to administrate steroids as a part of TRT by athletes. But there are other fighters who don’t support this opinion. Numerous sportspersons have the same point of view as Michael Bisping has. They confirm that usage of steroids is just justified by clinical reasons. They believe that all fighters that use anabolic steroids, noticing that they are on TRT, are liars.
King Mo Lawal says that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both this mixed martial artist and his manager say that they are actually surprised by the results of the test.
Fans were waiting for a fight between Jackson Rampage and Lawal. There were some rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the dreams of fans were not justified. Lawal has to serve a ban.

Female fighters have harsh words for each other

The UFC president Dana white proclaimed about the end of the female featherweight division in Strikeforce. He noticed that it was related to positive of Christiane Cyborg Santos for Winstrol. Dana White confirmed that this fact would induce the ending of the whole division. Santos forfeited her title. That’s why Dana White came to the conclusion related to the end of the division.
It is said that the president of the UFC didn’t suggest which would be the response of numerous individuals to the Winstrol metabolites that had been discovered in Santos’ sample. He didn’t except that a great war would start on Twitter between celebrated female fighters.
Rowdy Ronda Rousey who is the top of female MMA featherweight and who has won the bronze medal in judo noted about her negative attitude to intake of anabolic steroids and her attitude to Cyborg Santos.
Rowdy Rousey made her thoughts about this issue public. She expressed them during an interview with TapouT Radio. Rowdy Rousey pointed out that administration of steroids was caused by uncertainty of sportspeople in their skills, strength and abilities. This fighter explained that the decision to apply performance-enhancing drugs came from the feelings that the individuals were not enough skilled to win in competitions. She added that administration of steroids and other related products manifested psychological weakness of consumers. According to this female mixed martial artist, this weakness promotes lying.
Rowdy Rousey mentioned about her attitude to the suspension of Cyborg Santos during certain interviews. She talked to Mauro Ranallo during “The MMA Show” that she knew that Cyborg Santos had taken forbidden medicines. This female fighter noted that she never had respect toward Santos. Rowdy Rousey concluded that she was glad to find out that Santos had been caught and banned.
As for Santos, she became angry because of Rousey’s affirmations. She wrote to her fans on Twitter that Rousey would be her next victim at the fight. The fight will probably be after successful serving of the ban by Santos. She thinks that she will be welcomed by Strikeforce.
Santos wrote following wordsto Rowdy Ronda Rousey: “Proxima victim…Ronda! No mercy!!” Santos hosted a photo of Gina Carano after she defeated her at Strikeforce Female Championship. But she didn’t host the real picture. Instead of it, she applied Photoshop to exaggerate the damages which were imposed by her upon Gina Carano.
Rowdy Rousey didn’t hesitate a lot; she responded to the comments and the photo immediately. She had rough expressions for Santos, blaming her for cheating and for posting the picture, applying Photoshop.
Numerous persons claim that the war on Twitter between Rowdy Ronda Rousey and Christiane Cyborg Santos is more entertaining than some real fights. It is said that this war is the preparation for the fight between Rousey and Santos that will probably take place in 2013.
